ABOUT

My first love has always been all things wild, especially our living shores.
The spaces between - whether that be ocean and land, people and place, or the visionary and the practical - ignite my curiosity tremendously. I find co-enquiries through facilitated conversations and experiences to be deeply generative.
My first studies were into the sciences of oceanography at a time when the earth felt cooler in many respects. Grappling with the systemic inequalities and injustices of South Africa from a young age, combined with an understanding of earth systems and a deep passion for learning has brought my worlds together into a portfolio of offerings that seek to advance more socially just and inclusive ways of being in a world that finds herself at a tipping point and asking some profound questions of us.
Through my Masters in Sustainable Development exploring inclusive and sustainable regional food systems, and my PhD in Business Administration looking at how companies can integrate emerging logics of nested dependencies and limits into their strategy and decision-making, I have learnt as much from my academic research and teaching, as through my ongoing work as a director, trustee and implementer of systems change initiatives in practice.
Today, my work is guided by a deep sense of systems in dynamic interplay, and a curiosity of how we might step more fully into ourselves as agents of change.
